Christmas Markets in Dublin 2016 – events to get you in the Christmas spirit!

Christmas Markets in Dublin

It’s that wonderful, magical time of year again.

Now that it’s only a month until Christmas Day, it’s perfectly reasonable to get in the Christmas spirit!

It’s not all good news though, as the big IFSC Christmas market will not be happening this year. And so, I’ve had to dig up some alternatives for a dose of holiday cheer in Dublin. Luckily, there are lots of smaller Christmas markets taking place around the capital this year, so all is not lost.

Right beside the site of the Christmas market, the CHQ building in the IFSC will hold a Christmas at CHQ event Thursdays-Sundays from December 8-23. It promises market stalls, mince pies and festive cheer, so it’s guaranteed to make you feel all Christmassy.

Designer Dublin Christmas Market

The Designer Christmas market takes place at the Bank of Ireland on College Green on December 9 and 10. It features Irish designs and crafts as well as festive food, live music and Santa Claus himself. Best of all, the money raised from the stall fees goes to St Vincent de Paul charity.
